    If it don't ask you for surveys or $, then why the $#@% would it not be legit? No harm in trying, is there?

    Of course it's not legit. For a laugh, I tried it on an android phone and it told me it had jailbroken and I just had to complete one last step to "unlock" it.

    This last step was installing and playing an app: In other words, it's just click bait to get apps up to rankings in the store!

    It's also listed on the list of scam sites here: http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/Scam_Sites

    What?

    A legitimate source does not ask you for money or to take a survey..

    Those are both 100% indications of spam..not safe, nor smart.

    Notice that the phone number is phony, and doesn't match the whois information at all.

    @j4zb4

    When (or if) there is a legitimate and publicly released jailbreak for iOS 7.1, it will propagate across the websites like wildfire. It has always been that way and always will be.

    As another poster noted, if you have to ask it is a scam. As often as we remind posters of this, there is always a constant thread of "is this or that real". :(

    What about this? http://www.evad3rs.net/2014/03/jailbreak-71-for-iphone-ipad-is-here.html

    Reading the comments though seems like it might be misleading though, which is somewhat sad, especially (seemingly) coming from Evad3rs who are behind Evasi0n.

    Edit: Yeah, after a bit of digging it seems like that site isn't actually affiliated with Evad3rs after all.
