I just bought a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 20" iMac and I was wondering if the memory from my older 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 24" iMac will work with my new one. Anyone know?

The memory I want to put in my new 2.4GHz iMac is a 1GB stick of DDR 667MHz CL5 200PIN.

Your new iMac wants ddr2 800, your ram is ddr2 667. I'm not sure how mixing the two will work out.

Matching RAM

Try to stick to matching RAM. You Mac will run better if all of the RAM is brand new and the exact same kind. You may run into problems if some RAM is a year old and isn't the same kind. Go to crucial.com and that should help you. Enter you're model and it will give you prices of the kind you have to have. I have found that Crucial usually has the best prices.
