Ive finally found a monitor i like for a good price but will this work

Will resolution etc be ok ?

That monitor should work fine, I run a 20.1" at the resolution on my macbook. Im not sure if it VGA or DVI but either way you need mini DVI to VGA/DVI which ever the monitor is. The adapter is $19.99 from apple.
