Is this normal battery life usage?

Is this normal? I'm on 3G networks mostly all the time, push off, location services off, auto brightness off.
Brightness set at 60%
I spend my time browsing and texting mostly.

My battery life is horrible, but I think it is the norm for the iPhone 3g, especially with how much I use it. Having said that, if I am browsing for 2 hours straight, my battery will be damn near dead. I carry my charger and bought a car charger for charging throughout the day.

2 hrs doesnt sound right... I basically only do web browsing... I can get 5hrs usage easy... The only thing turned off is push..

incidentally I have push on for 2 email accounts which is why I say for my usage it would be normal if I was constantly browsing for two hours.

Ugh. This sucks, I don't want to swap in my 3G for a bad LCD panel.
