So lately I've noticed that my battery on my macbook drops from 100% to around 10% in about 2-3 hours (I'm on the internet the whole time). I checked my coconut battery and this is what it says:

Current Battery Capacity: 5031 mAh
Original Battery Capacity: 5200 mAh

Battery-Loadcycles: 4
Age of your mac: 10 months
Charger connected: No
Battery is charging: Yes

My mac is around 10 months old but I don't think the rest sounds right...

which macbook?

what screen brightness?

are you listening to music while surfing?

are you surfing Flash sites/sites with sound?

need more info.

generally speaking, a nearly 1 year old notebook battery that lasts up to 3 hours seems pretty par for the course.

Sorry, should have included more info.

The screen brightness is usually about halfway to 3/4 full. I don't listen to music at all on my laptop. I do surf a lot of flash sites, and a lot of sites with videos like youtube and whatnot. It's a normal black macbook that I got almost 1 year ago. Hope that helps, thanks.
