When I am logged onto iTunes and have my iPhone plugged in with the USB cord....the battery stops charging when I receive a phone call. I would think after the phone call the battery would go back to charging, no? Not only does the battery stop charging but iTunes doesn't acknowledge that my iPhone is attached. I am using windows, in case that's relevant. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could try resetting your iPhone first, and if that doesn't help, try a restore. Not sure what else to tell you.
