I received my iPad 4th Gen today, and was setting it up when I noticed the image of the iPad(next to the name/capacity/serial number) doesn't show up in iTunes? Is this normal on the 4th Gen, because my iPhone shows up and so did my iPad 2. I have tried restoring 3 times, all as new iPad but is still doesn't show up.

Is this something to worry about, and can I run into any problems in the future? Is it hardware or software related?

I would imagine its an iTunes problem rather than an iPad.

Personally haven't noticed if its there or not on mine.

They missed the deadline of iTunes 11 so weird things like this happened.

That makes sense. Atleast I know everything is running fine.
