Is this option new?

You can now select your own sound alerts for new mail messages, iChat buddy statuses, etc. It's under the option "Add/Remove..."

I used to want this option, but it was never available... but I go to check in both iChat and Mail and the option is suddenly there! Did 10.4.8 bring this new feature?

Please tell me I'm not losing my mind. 😛 I know that wasn't there before.

I thought it had been there since Mail 2.0 arrived (with Tiger). 😱
