When it's pushed down (to lock/mute), no problem. But when it's pushed up, just a slight push unlocks it before it actually gets pushed back upwards into the top position.

Is this a wonky iPad, or is this unfortunately normal?
 
You know, I'd never noticed it, but mine is like that too. I can kinda nudge it and it'll unlock but still be down. Huh.
 
I do apologize if this thread is about to make lots of people realize the same thing about their own iPads, but I had to double-check or else my OCD would literally not let me sleep tonight. :eek:

My supervisor's iPad kind of does the same thing, but his switch doesn't nearly have as much friction as mine when I try to push it upwards. Hopefully it's just a matter of breaking it in.
 
My switch leaves an impression on my finger and makes a good click either way I switch it. It's what I expect.
