Is this physically normal for the rotational lock switch?

When it's pushed down (to lock/mute), no problem. But when it's pushed up, just a slight push unlocks it before it actually gets pushed back upwards into the top position.

Is this a wonky iPad, or is this unfortunately normal?

You know, I'd never noticed it, but mine is like that too. I can kinda nudge it and it'll unlock but still be down. Huh.

I do apologize if this thread is about to make lots of people realize the same thing about their own iPads, but I had to double-check or else my OCD would literally not let me sleep tonight.

My supervisor's iPad kind of does the same thing, but his switch doesn't nearly have as much friction as mine when I try to push it upwards. Hopefully it's just a matter of breaking it in.

My switch leaves an impression on my finger and makes a good click either way I switch it. It's what I expect.
