add me to the list. Slide out would be great (second model of course, those who don't need it shouldn't have to pay for the thickness it would add).

I recall what Steve said..but they also once said no one wants a sideloading CD tray and then a few years later they introduce the iMacs with the drive on the side..and that's not everything they took back. Just one example.

A slideout keyboard would give you some more options. Sure, the device would get slightly thicker but look at the Nokia N97 which is comming, it even got a card reader.

But in the end it's the better software which counts. And I guess there wins the iPhone.

Yes, on the iPhone/touch device.

Don't like slide out keyboards. Tried them. Prefer the virtual keyboards. Plus the virtual ones are more flexible.
