Is this sata2 or 3 ?

My drive is this: ST31000528AS

Checked on amazon and it doesn't say if its Sata3 or 2. However if I check my macs hardware it shows the negotiated link speed as 3GBs.

That is a SATA II drive.

I don't think that drive could even saturate a SATA II connection though so it shouldn't be a big deal.

I just thought it was Sata3 and it didnt use the 6GBs. thanks anyway.
