A scratch and a dent are not the same thing. Your picture shows a dent. You will lose money because of the dent.

Go ahead and try trading this laptop in and then report back just how much you received as a trade-in with that dent on your laptop. That is not a scratch. My guess is that you will lose some value to this laptop because of that dent.

That aside, though, maybe this doesn’t affect performance, but you see it every time you use the laptop. That’s pretty bad.
The only people who can tell you if you’d still get the 750 are Apple, though. If I were you, I’d take it to an Apple store and talk to them. You might want to skip the part where chatgpt said it’s minor, though 😉

It probably hallucinated and thought that's a dent on a car, which would be minor. For a dent on a laptop, and at that location where the user will constantly see it, it's a major cosmetic flaw.
