I have been an iPhone user since the 7 model and I'm very satisfied with it.
I'm currently at my 4th iPhone, specifically this 16 Pro Max, and I was very excited about the telephoto lens, being this my first pro model (I shoot many high quality videos with the phone itself).
That said, I was very disappointed with the quality of the telephoto lens/sensor itself.
I think the photos look terrible, very soft and with lots of noise.
Is this really what last year's flagship can do? If so, this is horribly disappointed.
These photos were cropped, but not resized.
This is how they came out of the phone from the actual 5x lens (no digital zoom), format HEIF 24mp...hardly decent quality.
