Sorry, but I think you need to read the responses and stop asking about paid iPhone unlocking sites. If the Dev Team's Pwnage did not unlock your iPhone, you didn't follow the steps properly. There's no reason to use any other tool, free or not, to unlock an EDGE iPhone.

My mac is being fixed so for now all I have is my old windows vista and Pwnage isn't compatible with it.

Hmmm, that does make it more complicated. But I think the bottom line is this: There is no reputable paid software unlocking site.

this is a silly question, but why not go to 1.1.4 where a really good solution exists? 1.1.4 is way better thAn 1.1.1, IMHO.

i figured out my problem, my baseband was at 04.05.04 and i erased it trying to fix it,

now i have an even bigger problem, i have no baseband and restoring it back to 1.1.1 wont work, im going to try to upgrade to the latest version in hopes of getting baseband back

unlocking 3g

Hi guys,

I used alliponessolutions.com to unlock my iphone 3g, but it gives me error1600. I tried to email to technical support but it failed. I guess it is scamp 😡. just becarefull guys when you go to those sites.

I think I'm going to close this thread... the bottom line is the bottom line, as of 11/13/2008:

If you have an iPhone with EDGE -- use Dev Team's Pwnage.
If you have an iPhone 3G and want it unlocked -- you need hardware (e.g. TurboSIM)
If you have an iPhone 3G and you want it just jailbreaked -- use Dev Team's Pwnage.
If you have a first gen iPod touch -- use Dev Team's Pwnage.
If you have a second gen iPod touch -- you have no options.

End of story.
