Do you guys know if that white line/mark (picture attached) is supposed to be there on the crown? It is not dirt as I have tried cleaning it.

Thank you all. I am guessing if I were to exchange this watch, I would have to pay activation fee again at AT&T. I guess I will live with this small defect.
You can try to use a toothpick and see if it’s material left behind during assembly.. They may use adhesive to attach the cover on the crown

Little nit picking aren’t we?

Don't I have the right to be? I won't be exchanging it though since it is too much of a hassle. I just thought I would ask others.

Will give that a try. :)

I used a red marker pen on the old watch to get a red circle

but as I dad told me once : yes it looks like someone hit your car with a shopping cart

So white got added or the red was removed a bit

Using a cleaner may make it worse so just touch it up with a red marker pen.

It’s the OP’s watch, which they paid a lot of money for, they have the right to ‘nitpick’ if something doesn’t belong there that they noticed. And I’m sure Apple did not intend it to be that way either, so it’s worthy to be discussed and see if there’s anything that can remedied. And the ‘white mark’ isn’t normal, it’s the first I have heard of this.

Looks like impact damage. Is that damage to the screen edge as well?

Nope, that's just a lint.
