Is this years Space Grey darker than previous gen?

Hey. I currently have a 2016 Space Grey MacBook Pro 13 which I’m trading in and getting either the 14” or 16” MBP! I’ve noticed though that the Space Grey this year possibly looks a little darker than my current one? I’m debating on going back to the silver after so many years.

I have the 14" in Space Grey. It appears to me to be the same shade as my previous 13" M1 MBP and 2019 16" MBP.
