A dear friend of mine ordered a Throwboy pillow for me. But it has been MONTHS since the order was placed and the shipping info shows it was never even sent out (ie still "awaiting shipping label" or some such thing). Using their contact page has not yielded a reply. They have no listed phone number to call.
I know there is a givaway on MR sometimes for their stuff. It's frustrating to not get the item, nor any reply, as warm and fluffy their website makes them appear.
Their BBB rating is an F.

No idea about the company but the quickest way to deal with companies like this who have no working contact info is to dispute the charge with the credit company you used…hopefully.

Most of the time you’ll see a shipping confirmation email shortly after the dispute. Some companies will reach out and ask you to remove the dispute but don’t do it. You’ll usually get the product and money back if the credit card company can’t a hold of them.

Same issue with me.

I ordered back in July and have gotten very few replies from them.

I already disputed the charge and received a reply shortly after, but they haven't responded after that.
 
Hey-just wanted to put my 2 cents in as I have some insight. I have been ordering from Throwboy for years-my house is full of their pillows! So, they aren’t a scam company-or weren’t, anyway. I ordered a new pillow from them in AUGUST. They sent me shipping info in December & I haven’t received anything. I literally email them every month and we have the same conversation-I write a sternly worded email saying that I have been buying from them for years and I’m disappointed, etc. They write back apologizing and saying that my package is slated to be shipped out in a couple days & then nothing. I messaged them on instagram once & the owner messaged me & said it was a case of the company getting too big too fast & they’re struggling to keep up, but they’re trying to remedy by hiring new people, moving their factory, etc. it’s not a great look.
 
I had two orders in the past. It was three years ago – and I remember it took ages for those pillows to arrive. The pillows are great though.
 
I have a follow up- I FINALLY received the pillow. It was ordered in October, and arrived here in March. So 4+ months, with no communication, until a message recently saying it was delivered (nope). But it showed up today, about 10 days after the false delivery notice. The pillow is nice. I like it a lot, good firmness and fluffy, great colors, nice fabric. Is it worth waiting 4+ months? No. That's the absolute worst in customer service, to hang on orders so long and not send updates. There was a note that "there was a snag in the sewing queue..." Maybe they batch up orders until they hit a minimum quantity to make it worthwhile? If so they should say so. I know it might inhibit sales if the website says it'll take 4-6 months, no one wants that. But no one wants to go thru their bank or card company to deny charges or dispute purchases.

How much were they? The best pillows I’ver ever and currently use are shredded latex filled pillows. They are not cheap, last time I checked.

I ordered on July 6, 2024 and I still haven't gotten my pillows.

Best yet, they did send me an email today for the first time in a few months....
