Slim but real.

Yep, if you rely on it as a daily driver and you're not developing on it, or at least prepared for it to crash/restart/freeze/die at any moment, you should be waiting for the final release.

Slim but real.

Yep, it's a real possibility as several members have posted that they had to send their bricked AWs on wOS 2 beta off to Apple to get them restored.

OP: Be our guest if you want to gamble with your AW while out of warranty, as long as you don't mind shelling out the out-of-warranty price of $199 (for Sport) or $329 (for SS) in case Apple needs to replace it.

It's pretty good to me so far, 6 hours into the day and I'm only at 89% remaining, seems to have better battery performance and responsiveness than the current public release of WatchOS 2. It was a little slow after I first installed it but now it's working amazingly well for a beta, probably had to do with indexing.

Doing great here as well too, installed this morning and after a bit of rebooting weirdness it is fine and working quite well. And I agree, Especially since it is a beta! and the current watchOS 2 wasn't extremely polished anyway.

I have a question, has anyone gotten the mickey mouse to say the time verbally? im going crazy trying to get this feature to work

Yep - works for me. I thought it wasn't working but I forgot I had the sound turned off on the watch app under sounds. :)

Its strange after a while it just started to work. I guess it needed to download the voice files and since i was on the go it didnt download until i got home. I have to admit it put a smile on my face to hear the voice coming from Mickey

Excellent! Thanks Mate!
Not sure what to make of this though... went to Subway today and they had a newer reader and I used my Apple Watch again... sat for a few seconds and then I heard it beep and saw on the watch screen that it was "done". However, the register did not budge so I had to pull out my credit card to complete.

Now I am not convinced it works until I try some place else. Hope others had success.

I've had that happen to me on watchOS 2 before! I think it's more to do with the card readers more than the watch!
I've updated my phone to 10 and it's been great so far. Not done my watch yet, making sure everything I need to work on 10 does and that battery life is ok, but tbh, battery life seems better than 9 for me on my 6S!!

I'm quite impressed with both the betas so far. Really like the improvements of iOS 10 and watchOS3!

Wish I was as impressed with all of you for IOS10 beta 1 - ESPN hangs a lot, a few of my apps and workout app work, but if you go to a submenu, you can't go back. I can't change reps or sets on my FitnessBuilder app. I hate the new way they bring up menus for you to choose an app and then it stays. Need to check if that can be turned off. I do love the changes and lifting the screen wakes the screen and a left swipe right to the camera or right swipe to widgets.

The new features are great and I am guessing every kid using iMessage will love the new features. :)

Has everyone added their watch to the Dev portal? If so, how did you manage to copy it out of Xcode? When I right click on it, it only gives me a context menu, no option to copy!
I don't fancy having to type it in!!
