Is Weather Vane DOA & any alternatives?

According to a note on the Weather Vane app devs site, accuweather.com is now blocking feeds from the app. The dev said he was looking for a new feed but so far I haven't seen an update. Anyone know if the dev has given up?

In the meantime are there any other similar apps that put current weather conditions and temp on the menu bar? Free is always good, but a cheap app would be OK too.

not sure, but ran into the same issue. but luck have it, i found a new prog and is a LOT better than weather vane. try meteorologist, its nice and even has a radar

Just temperature, external windows more useful for conditions.

I had the same issue and switched to the freeware Menuweather.
