Is whatsapp coming one day to the Apple Watch?

I have just got an Apple Watch and I feel a bit annoyed with the idea of just having those quick replies with WhatsApp.


Is there any app or at least a thought that one day this will be solved?

By the way it's pretty annoying that you also cannot send a reply as an voice message to a WhatsApp contact.

You can't initiate a WhatsApp message, but if someone sends one to you, you can reply using Voice Dictation in addition to using Quick Replies. It would nice one day for WhatsApp to add the feature where we can start a conversation.

It would be great if we could also see pictures. Well over 50% of my feed is family pictures, mainly of our cat doing stupid things and it's a pain (and a first world problem) too go aaalllll the way across the room to get my phone.

When I receive a pic with iMessage I can see a preview and decide whether I want to see it in more details on the iPhone or just forget about it and watch it later. Being able to do the same with Whatsapp would be great since I receive more stuff there than via iMessage

Been posting this in another thread last week but now I actually found the app searching "whatsapp" in the watch app store.

It's still a bit slow but this is already much more helpful than the quick replies
