You well know it's not something I can prove. But I can tell you there are many many many mac forums that have posts about folks who have had issues with MacOS, OSX, and previous versions of 's OS's. So for you to say you haven't had the issue is a safe statement for you to make. I say you will because 20+ years of reading mac related forums and BB's tells me that sooner or later, the majority WILL have an issue. So I feel confident in my statement saying you are in the minority. But you know what? Doesn't matter to me what you think, just as what I think doesn't matter to you. Go your merry way and i honestly hope you never have a problem with ANY update.

Additionally, according to Gstat counter, and considering that Windows 10 was a free and FORCED upgrade, specially for anyone with Windows Update turned on:

Windows 10 was launched in 2015, that's 3 years ago, and only has 47.21% of market share.
The minimum specs for Windows 10 are:
Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS
Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
Display: 800x600
So, unlike Apple, you can't say "it's because people don't have the necessary hardware to run it".
Meanwhile, on macOS

And many people complain because they are Apple haters, they don't even have Apple products.

And since that wasn't what we were initially discussing, I guess we are done exchanging our opinions and various facts.

Completely irrelevant figures. And everyone knows why Windows has such a big marketshare (spoiler alert: it's not because it's good)
The fact is that people don't upgrade their Windows installation because Windows updates are always breaking something or making the computer unbootable.

Excuse me? Some Mac users are reporting wi-fi difficulties after updating to macOS Sierra 10.12. That's a cut and paste from the first item I linked to.
Excuse me #2 - "Don’t worry if your Mac computer fails to boot or won’t boot after macOS High Sierra update or installation" Doesn't matter what they are selling, the reason they are selling it is because the Mac "fails to boot" which is exactly what you posted about. That's all I need to do, it's called tit for tat.

If my Mac breaks, I take it to an Apple Store and they'll fix it for me, thank you. Never had to do that in the last 10 years.

I haven't had to take my Windows computers to anybody for them to fix something. What does any of this prove?
