It’s pretty good but pricey
That’s fairly priced for an actual charger. I felt the original Belkin MagSafe mount was overpriced because it’s $40 but just a magnet. There’s no electrical components at all on it. This one seems to be sold at $40 without the adapter which I think is fair if it’s well made.

Do you have any issues with it holding onto the vent or it holding the phone? I kind of worry because I have the max size phone so it’s heavy. If it holds my phone and charges, I think it would be worth it.

It holds great, put it on the most bottom vent blade, so the vent doesn’t move or gets weighed down by the phone.

I’ve also owned the car mount you have, it’s basically identical. The charger version is more lighter though.

The magnets are strong. I will mention, it isn’t MagSafe the way Apple intended it to be. So there is no alignment magnet below the ring, there is no connection “clicking” when secured.

iOS 16 is very frustrating. Far away from 15.
Consumes much more battery when using with wireless Carplay. MUCH more hot.
