Judging from the default slow charger that comes with the phone, I would assume that WIRELESS charging would be the slow vintage.... In that case wireless is WORTHLESS.... And would you have an option if you wanted the wireless charge to slow charge....

Not that I looked but are the wireless chargers available?

Geese.... JUST looked

Experience wireless charging using the Qi wireless standard, which delivers up to 7.5W to your iPhone.

WTF.... why bother....

Interesting that the apple site did NOT offer an APPLE brand.... Belkin or some other brand

My experience thus far has been Qi charging is over rated. I bought a $50 RAVPower charger and it charges very slow even with 11.2b4. Coconut battery shows a 3 watt average.

Even then it is prooudnly positional and even if it looks like it is charging it doesn't STAY charging. Gonna return the RAVPower I think and get a bedside stand version with 2 or 3 coils for slow overnight charging then stick with USB-C high wattage charging for typical use.

Wireless charging is not fast at all. It can take 5 hours to a a full day to charge an iPhone X in full.

Yep, even when they do enable 7.5w when 11.2 ships in early december, it will still not be anywhere near the speed of fast charging with a cable. The entire point of wireless charging is to be able to do it more often and for longer (and it won't scratch up the bottom of your device as you're not fumbling with a lightning cable).

Until the iOS 11.2 is released, all the qi compatible wireless chargers could not perform as fast as expected. So the iOS 11.2 is a definite must to enable the fast wireless charging capabilities. Just wait until the iOS 11.2 comes.
That is why I do not bother to get any wireless chargers until the iOS 11.2 is released and AirPower is available.
