Is wirelss sync supposed to work with Windows

Hey....I am not able to configure wireless sync with WIndows 7, iTunes 10.5 x64, has anyone been able to? The same goes to iCloud. How do you get it to work? Is it even possible?

oddly tho there are pictures of people doing it and initially my iPad did it when updating this evening, but since then greyed out
