iPhone 17 Pro Is your cosmic orange 17 Pro/Pro Max turning pink?

I've been seeing more and more people showing off the new 17 Pro in cosmic orange colorway that is turning pink.
First it was that one person on reddit and today they showed that the phone is completely pink now (except the glass and antenna bands obviously). I've also seen quite a lot of videos on TikTok already.
I wonder if that's a bad batch or something. It's actually funny because there's people already that are hoping that the blue one will turn purple now lol
Is it another #gate thing with the new pros? lol

Maybe sun exposure? A lot of astrophotography gear is red anodized and will turn pink when left in the sun. I always cover my mount since it's red.

If it's real, I love it. I know folks who wanted orange will be disappointed, but I'd prefer the pink to the orange anyway. Should I get one and leave it out in the sun?

Wonder if it's reacting to a material used in a case? There is a case in the background of the video that OP posted.

EDIT: the case in the background (which is orange) appears to be on a different 17 Pro, and it looks to me like a kinda janky case itself. But the thought is still there - is the phone reacting to a case material?

It appears to be this case in the background of that video, made with "luxury metal paint" 🤔 😬 but as I am in California the link also has a Prop 65 warning because the materials used in the case can be harmful. Good luck!
