jailbroke ios5 and have never looked back, after immersing myself in cydia apps/tweaks, going back to stock OS is like being forced to only drink diet beverages.

You are missing out on many new features and Cydia apps that can totally transform the device in to something much better,
Wow, it seems that I have missed so much, I just saw the ios 5.0.1 can jailbreak, maybe it's time to try.
And the fact that it's untethered and stable makes it very attractive. Until it works for 5.0 ,not going to update my jailbreak yet.
No, that's widely believed BS. Magnuson-Moss, etc apply... jailbreaking doesn't and shouldn't void the warranty.
Jailbroken for a few months now. Other than the occasional 3 second lag, the tweaks, the apps, the themes greatly improves upon stock iOS.
Only a lot of tweaks slow down the iPod, I have seen slower responses but I install fakeclockup to counter it.
It does slow it down considerably. And you think Cydia apps don't leave trash in your iPod once you've uninstalled them?
They do. Jailbreaking isn't what it used to be.
jailbroke my new ipod 32g. which replaced 8g.(needed more space) less than 2 hours after i got it
8GB is very tight, I had it but 100$ increase to 32GB wasn't worth it. I just went the path of having to conserve space and delete apps to download other apps. A bit unconventional but my music library isn't to large so it works out in the end.
