    Hi there.

I've been trying to read the latest update on this. But I want to make sure I know the most up-to-date info.

I am trying to videoconference with msn on my macbook to PC users. Is this possible? Right now the best I've come to is using aMSN with iSight and sending periodic sound clips. blah!

Are there any other options/new developments coming along?

Mac Messenger 7 will be out this year..hopefully.

What I do is I run Parallel's Desktop (need a valid copy of Windows XP) and use Windows Live Messenger with iSight.

Only issue with that is that Mac's since June-ish time have 1.3MP webcams, and Windows Live Messenger uses 800k pixels rather than the full 1.3MP's available, so the webcam image appears zoomed in.

Never-the-less, least it is a fully working alternative.

If you use Adium, you can install the Mebeam plugin which is a browser-based webcam thingy. It's not perfect but it does the job.

I've not actually tried the microphone setting but I know there is one. Webcam is great, though. Good quality.
