I've got a 2014 Macbook Pro Retina 13" with 16GB of RAM...WHY is my camera laggy? FaceTime and photo both are equally bad. Any troubleshooting tips?

If you're using it in a dark environment, the camera's shutter speed would have to be lower; hence the lag.

In good lighting, my FaceTime camera is smooth as silk.
