There is only one green light on the right side of the iSight. I don't know what little dot on the other side you might see.

I thought the Mic was in the speakers.

Maybe it's just dirt or something?

The green light is to show that the iSight is turned on and is usually on the right of it. The hole on the leftshould be the mic. If you have an iMac or a MacBook it is probably the mic. If you have a MacBook Pro the mic is inside, near the speakers (MacBook Pros don't have the hole on the left side of the iSight).

    Mic

Its definitely the mic.... it has been there as long as I can remember -- since the White Intel iMacs at least.

On the MacBook, the left hole is the microphone, and the one on the right is the light.

Ahhh, I see...the OP didn't specify whether they had a MB or MBP, so hopefully they have a MB from the looks of these replies.
