iSight Leopard issues

Hello. My external iSight on my G5 refuses to work with iChat now that i've upgraded to Leopard. I keep getting "communications error" when I try to video chat, audio chat, screen sharing, or theater. Its unacceptable to have a feature that used to work in Tiger that now does not work. I am not impressed. Any suggestions?
 
I'm having the same problem on my G4 (in that it won't work) but instead of a communications error, I get a message that video-conferencing is not (any longer) supported. I have not yet hooked up my iSight for my G5 tower so I'm not sure about that one. I'll be miffed if they disabled the external iSights though. No reason for that other than trying to morph into MS.
 
Interesting issue.

My external iSight works fine with my PowerMac G4.

However, I can't get the backgrounds in Photobooth which I assume it due to my lack of processor speed.
