isight plugged into ACD

Does anyone else have problem with the functionality of the apple isight when it is plugged into an ACD? It only seems to work properly when plugged into the firewire port on the front of my macpro (has to be the front one, since the rear firewire port is taken up with the ACD's extender)

Also, why only 2 firewire 400 ports on the mac pro?!

I have an isight and it seems to work fine. I'm not sure where I plugged it intio, but I'll check when I get home.

Mine is plugged into a 20" ACD. Works fine. The display's FW hub is plugged into a MBP C2D.
