I just replaced my 4th gen iPod with a new 160gb classic. I had an iSkin case for my old iPod so I purchased an Evo 3 for the new one and it's great. They've gotten rid of the cover over the scroll wheel so there's not interference. I usually carry it in my back pocket when I'm walking the dog and I found that the scroll wheel is pretty flush making it hard to control the iPod without removing it from my pocket. The Evo 3 case provides nice definition for the wheel, making it easy to control without removing. It's a great product, well with the 30ish $. Looks good too.

May i ask you why you never waited for the Ipod refresh due in a few weeks? Reason I ask is because i bought the same things (Ipod classic 160g) but took it back about a week ago as some people said there could be a refresh, but when I read the notes on new ipods it says "apple are working on 3 new Ipods, nano, touch and an unnamed device".

I really want a classic not interested in touch but I don't want to buy then miss out on a new design classic if there is one.

I just couldn't wait and, besides, the capacity is more than enough and I didn't think the price would drop much. I got it at Costco for $218.
