I've got a cat who is the same way about boxes (and one that isn't). He just goes absolutely nuts when he can get into a confined space with four walls (and sometimes a ceiling). It's bizarre... ah well, we love him anyways! 🙂

I read something that domestic cats probably came from cats that lived in the desert....which is why that house cats like to lie in the sun, don't like getting wet, and like burying their waste in sandy places (like the sandbox!😱 )
my cat looks almost exactly like your cat and she gets in boxes all the time as well. I will try to find a picture of her around here somewhere. She likes to get in shopping bags too so we will hang her on a doorknob and she will lay there for hours. Cats are so weird.
