Tabbed browsing is awesome, have been using it since the firefox breakthrough a while back, now I couldn't live without it....

I especially like the way camino handles tabs, its very clean and it also includes the little crosses so you can close a tab without right clicking....

I'm not kidding, and I am not an MS fanboi. I truely like the layout of IE 7. While it may not look pretty, everything that you need is right in front of you. In my opinion, it blows Firefox out of the water, in terms of useability. The RSS setup is so much nicer than the "live bookmarks" in FF. Also, the search bar allows you to choose from multiple search engines on the fly. In addition, pulling up and hiding your "favorites" menu is a breeze in IE7.

Have you tried it yet? If not, I'd suggest trying it, if you have access to a Windows machine.

I just downloaded and tried out IE 7.

Big shock....

It blows....

Tabbed browsing is made for getting away with killing time staring at MR at work, and then quickly switching back to the company website tab.....I don't even remember life without tabs now...

Firefox needs an extension to hide tabs for workers, this way once you switch to a work page you could press a key-combo to hide the rest of the tabs.

After using the beta stage of IE 7, I found it to finaly be a decent version of IE. Firefox and Safari beat them to tabs though, so they get the honor.

thanks, however its one button too cumbersome. c'est la vie

I heard OS X has this amazing secret pref panel called Keyboard Shortcuts in System Preferences. It lets you create keyboard shortcuts for pretty much anything you want. At least that's what I heard from an elf that once tried to steal a pair of my shoes.
