Isn't the 6/6+ just the 5S with a larger screen?

It's hard to double the processing power of the A7 chip,it's already extremely fast for a mobile device and can still hold its own in real life mobile situations today.

I agree, in some ways my 6 plus is only a notch or two better than last year but it's to be expected now. You're going to be disappointed with pretty much every phone release from here on out if your expectations are double everything.

That's a pretty poor source, with most photos taken with just the 6/6+ shown and several members (including hasanamad) disputing the claims and even showing their own 6 vs. 5s photos doing the same thing.

How about a true side-by-side, scientific comparison from the link I posted?

I am using an iPhone 6 and and iPhone 5 at the same time and I don't notice much of a difference not even speed wise lol there aren't even any games taking advantage of the "metal" and a8 really. Software wise there's not much of a difference either besides another row of icons which is a bit disappointing

Oh and the camera on the 6 is worse... Too much white and loss of colors indoors
 
I believe everything about apple. So I never buy apple products. They can sell old wine in New bottle in a smart way.

Double the processibg power? I agree. However, look at the A8X; it's SIGNIFICANTLY faster than the A8 due to the extra core and higher clock speed. IMO, that is the kind of boost we should have seen in the A8 vs A7.

The reason we didn't is due to power efficiency since battery life is crucial for Apple to maintain or improve in the iPhone. I'm okay with that because like you said, the A7/A8 are still very competent and speedy mobile processors.

If Apple d***ed us anywhere with the iPhone 6/6+ it was on the RAM...but that's off topic.

Well, apple is gonna a milk us again next year when they introduce the 6S with the A8X.. Win/win for apple.. LoL
 
I have a 5s. I wish I could fit an extra row of icons on the screen. (i.e., the 6 isn't simply a 5s "blown up")

I doubt that the 6s will have the a8x; it just uses too much power. But I hope that the A9 finally adds another core, while still keeping the power consumption down.

haha c'mon this is like the only test with such results on the whole internet. nice marketing... there's plenty of threads in here that show the problems of the 6's cam.

It's at least a valid comparison. A thread full of photos shot only with the 6/6+ doesn't prove anything and isn't convincing. We also have one other thread praising the photo qualities of the 6/6+ but that also doesn't prove anything.
