Looking for a case which will protect iPad from a fall /throw from 3 feet.

The screen already has a thick plastic cover over it.

What edition iPad?

So I don't know what type of iPad you have, but I found a general page of thick iPad covers on Amazon.

I know that my nephews as well as other kids use this type of case.

The second link shows a case with a handle which is very convenient. Either way these cases will definitely protect the case!

My granddaughter has the second case the poster above me referenced (the one with the handle). I highly recommend it for kids. She's 6 but has the bad habit of carrying her iPad up and down the stairs while watching SpongeBob. She dropped her other iPad and shattered the screen.

So this year when we handed down the old iPad 2 to her I bought her this case. I think the iPad would survive a drop from even the top of the stairs. It's really sturdy and the handle is perfect, allows for carrying safely. She loves it. Plus I got her the pink one #

It was a good buy and the good news for me, when she inherits the iPad 3 her brother has (he will get my husband's Air 1 and the Air 2 goes to my hubby when I get a new one), anyway, it will fit the iPad 3 just fine.
