For whatever reason this is saying what I’ve used which is odd given my 12 pro max I was using at least 70GB more than this. Seems each day it’s gotten higher and higher.

Hard to know what is correct. bare in mind the system says it’s using 8GB. Bare in mind I’ve took a few videos as well which don’t go into the cloud usage from what I know
 
This is a glitch with iOS 15.0.2, you'll find quite a few other threads here discussing it. Expectation is that it will be corrected with next software update. It is simply a calculation error in space used / available, not anything that indicates the storage is not being used or managed properly, as far as I know.
 
My new 13 Pro Max doesn't seem to have this glitch, but my old Xs Max does, both with identical content and both with 15.0.2 installed. Strange.
