Recently purchased AirPods. And my iPhone 8 Plus is currently on iOS 11.2 beta 2. I cant seem to pair the AirPods. I open the case it should automatically detect it on the phone for me to pair. But nothing happens. Even tried holding the button in the back. Tried resetting network settings. Etc. anyone else having or had an issue like this?

I even let the AirPods charge all night. And this morning tried pairing. But nothing.

I hadn't tried my AirPods since getting my iPhone X but saw this and tried it out. It kept telling me to make sure my AirPods were in range (ofc they were right next to the phone). When I opened the case, they finally connected, but I don't remember having to open the case to connect previously. Took me 3 tries and then opened the case and connected.

Yeah I tried for hours yesterday when I received them. Then called Apple they said to charge overnight. Tried this morning still same result. It goes from blinking white for 3 seconds to turning solid green. And I put it right by my phone. And nothing detects.

Same phone and iOS, when I open the case it is taking a while to detect the AirPods (sometimes up to 5 seconds or so) but they do connect. There was one instance where I opened the case and put in the right AirPods and didn't get the "bong", I ended up having to manually connect.
