Hi, I have upgraded to iPadOS 13.4 on my 6th generation 9.7inch iPad. From what I have seen on videos about mouse support, there is a little ‘home bar’ at the bottom of the screen that allows you to swipe up to switch apps - this does not exist on my iPad (it does on my iPhone).
It means I can’t use a mouse to switch between apps as the gesture of tacking the cursor to the bottom of the screen will only take me to home screen.

Anyone encountered and fixed this issue?

This can not fixed as you own an iPad with the home button. What you can do is go to settings -> accessabilities -> assistive touch. From there you will see the assistive touch icon where you can virtual multitask to switch apps.

You can, if you move your cursor down the bottom of your screen and then "push" it further you go to the home screen. Once on the home screen, if you do it again (with the cursor already at the bottom move it further to the bottom) it will open the app switcher. I have the first gen iPad pro 12.9.
