Decided to post here because I have two Macbook air and 1 macbook pro. So far, I have only seen this issue with my MBAs and not MBP.

Magsafe is charges my MBA and I leave it charged. The problem is....

The light turns on the Magsafe in green and then it turns to Orange which indicates that MBA is charging.

After few hours, the Magsafe light goes off. It has no green or orange light. First, I thought it was just stopped charging because it was fully charged.

The problem begins when I start using the computer.

I turned on my MBA without noticing anything, but after few hours, I realized that my MBA was not charging. My battery was down down down and it was plugged in with Magsafe. When I unplugged and plugged back in, the MBA was charging again.

Does anyone have this issue? Does your MBA or any of your apple laptop computers stop charging? It happens to me all the time. Should I take it to apple store?

This happened to me on my 2010 when I would accidentally apply upward pressure to the magsafe. The laptop would still show that it's charging but the light would be off. I would then wiggle the magsafe and it would turn on again.
Don't know why it happened. Maybe one connector was being lifted with the pressure.

I was having an issue with the magsafe being plugged in and it saying not charging. I had to reset the SMC to get it to charge after a hard reset.

Unfortunately, I was forced to exchange my MBA since the problem would occur frequently..
