Im having this weird situation with my mbp right now. I can connect to the internet, but safari just won't load, it's stuck on the white screen before the home page pops up. Any suggestions on what to do? The other computers in my house are working fine. I've restarted multiple times and I reset the router, all not solving the problem.

Check your firewall settings. Also, check for any adblockers you may have installed.

Both safari and iTunes are allowed. I reset my router and nothing happened. It just keeps "loading" on the URL. It doesn't say anything about the page not being able to open

You only need to ever run Safari once anyway, just long enough to download Firefox or Opera.

My basic/primitive benchmarking shows that safari is still #1.
