Issue with Mail on new rMBP

    Hi All, Im having an issue with the mail app, when I open it no new messsages are a appearing and when i click get new mail, again nothing new comes through, however, after having the app open for 5 minutes it then receives mail. On my iphone i've received 5 messages today alone. On my Mac its only showing messages that came through yesterday. Also, When new mail is received it doesn't come through straight away like it does on my phone.

    Knowing what your ISP or e-mail is will help. i.e. do you have an icloud, gmail, outlook.com, etc email address, or one from an ISP?

    same with me.. although I have MBA. Really annoying since emails for me are very important

    I did a quick search and found this article on MacWorld UK that gives a step by step. Microsoft likes to make things tougher than they need to be.
