I've been using the betas on a secondary device for testing my apps since June. I put the GM on my personal device (5s) on Tuesday.
I'm having an issue where the screen will stop rotating until I reboot it. I verified that orientation lock is turned off.
Before this happens, I noticed that if I rotate with a keyboard open in a text box, the screen will rotate but the keyboard will only remain as wide as it is in portrait mode. After that, rotating the device goes back in portrait mode, and then it gets stuck in portrait -- no way to rotate without rebooting that I can see, even tried turning portrait lock on and off.
Rotating the screen with the keyboard visible doesn't activate the bug every time you do it is another observation.
Anybody else have this issue. I put it in a bug report, but just checking if it's something that may be wide spread.
I never noticed it during the betas, but I didn't really mess around with them other than for my apps, which run in portrait-only mode. I did not install any of the betas on my phone, or for any past versions of iOS -- the 5s came with iOS 7 on it, of course, and I have just applied the updates to 7 as they came out, so this is the first time iOS 8 is touching it.
