I've been using the betas on a secondary device for testing my apps since June. I put the GM on my personal device (5s) on Tuesday.

I'm having an issue where the screen will stop rotating until I reboot it. I verified that orientation lock is turned off.

Before this happens, I noticed that if I rotate with a keyboard open in a text box, the screen will rotate but the keyboard will only remain as wide as it is in portrait mode. After that, rotating the device goes back in portrait mode, and then it gets stuck in portrait -- no way to rotate without rebooting that I can see, even tried turning portrait lock on and off.

Rotating the screen with the keyboard visible doesn't activate the bug every time you do it is another observation.

Anybody else have this issue. I put it in a bug report, but just checking if it's something that may be wide spread.

I never noticed it during the betas, but I didn't really mess around with them other than for my apps, which run in portrait-only mode. I did not install any of the betas on my phone, or for any past versions of iOS -- the 5s came with iOS 7 on it, of course, and I have just applied the updates to 7 as they came out, so this is the first time iOS 8 is touching it.

Its a noted problem that apple knows about with the IOS8---I imagine it will be fixed in this next release, my 6+ does it as well at times....

Latest update didn't fix it for me. I tried a reset, then an erase and restore. Still not working.

When I take a photo, I can rotate the phone. But then the photo is immediately saved unrotated.

lot's of rotation issues for me. I took a photo today in landscape mode trying to send it in a message all I got was a black screen after taking to photo. Had similar problems in other apps as well

The bug with rotating the keyboard into landscape (like while in Messages) and suddenly finding the keyboard is unresponsive until rotating back into portrait is an unbelievably bad bug, and the single worst iOS bug I've ever seen in a released iOS version. It's simply beyond unacceptable and the fact that it wasn't fixed with this first new update is shameful. It's pathetic really.

It's the only thing that's keeping me from loving my 6 because it's simply that annoying.

Very, very unlike Apple and totally no excuse for it.

Fwiw, I've had a similar issue with the camera app not responding to touch until switching back to portrait mode on 6+.

Same here on my 6+. I sometimes have to force it into landscape mode by rotating it upside down and then back to landscape. Also, sometimes I can't click on links, scroll,. in landscape. I have to flip to portrait and then back again.
