Is anyone having an issue where their iPhone alarms are completely silent after upgrading to IOS 14?

I used to get an audible alarm on my iPhone along with haptics on my Apple watch, but since the upgrade to iOS 14, my alams are totally silent and I only get haptics on Apple Watch.

Under Alarm Options I have 'Wake Up Alarm' enabled, Sounds and Haptics set to Springtide, Vibration set to something other than none, and the Volume is set to full.

I keep my iPhone on it's wireless charger and always have the physical switch set to silent, and wear my watch to bed as I track sleep w/Autosleep.

But ever since the upgrade, totally silent.

Is anyone else having an issue and/or has anyone else figured out how to fix this? I can't wake up late for work anymore :)

I had this problem in the iOS 14 Beta 7 but it works good now. I don’t put the physical switch to silence, only sleep mode.

I’ve got the same issue only since upgrading to iOS14 and the 14.0.1. Thus far my morning sleep alarm will not sound and it’s so frustrating! The screen shows the alarm going off and my watch vibrates, however there is no sound

1) I have “do not disturb” set 11pm-7am

2) Sleep schedule is set weekly for 11pm-7:30am with the daily sleep alarm set to go off 7:30am

3) The physical silent switch is kept to silent (as I’ve always done in the past)

So this has been happening to me randomly for about a year now and I thought I was the only one.

Every night, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and make sure the Ringers and Alerts slider is set to non-zero. It resets back to zero once about 2-3 days for me and I need to check it every night to make sure I actually wake up on time.

Same for me! It’s driving me nuts since the iOS 14 update

I found that if you want your alarm to sound on your phone, the phone has to be unlocked. To do this, get an app that has a setting to override the Auto-Lock setting, like Nightstand Central. Plug in your phone before turning off the light so it doesn't drain the battery. The alarm will sound on your phone.

p.s. I discovered this because I had the opposite problem. I wanted the alarm on my watch, but not my phone, but I used Nightstand. When I turned off Nightstand, the alarm sounded on my watch, not my phone.

I hope that helps!
