Issues with google maps

Anyone else having issues with Google maps on 17? It gives me a blue screen then says cannot get directions. I deleted it and reinstalled it, worked once and now back to blue screen. No update showing in the store

I can get it to give me directions and show a map but it won’t show traffic. Tried reinstalling, checked location services settings.

I used it via CarPlay to get to and back from somewhere yesterday, worked fine.

I've had the odd occasion recently where its shown me the header bar and a black screen but i've just unplugged my phone, plugged it back in and it was fine.

I've had blank screen issues like that in Carplay with both iOS 15 and iOS 16. Always had to reconnect. Not using Bluetooth. 2021 Mazda.
