Issues with Hyper*Drive for 2018 MB Pro?

I just purchased a new MB Pro 2018 13" and am finding the attached images of the Hyperdrive are not working. I have to basically toggle it to work and it ONLY works on the left side. Is this compatible with the 2018? I don't see why it should not work unless I should just return this for a replacement.

Anybody else have any similar issue or know if there is a driver, etc that can be downloaded?

I'm not having any problem with my hyperdrive what kind of issues are you having I also have a 2018 13 inch MacBook Pro. Hyper Drive works like a charm for me.

Can you confirm in another way that the right side USB ports function, and its the dock and not your ports?

Thanks all - it doesn't fit flush with the ports, I have to wiggle it for it to work. It's currently only working on the left side. I checked the ports on both the machine and the hyperdrive and nothing seems loose. Here goes another possible exchange hoping it solves it.

I went into system report and it recognizes it but not working. Im going to try again but my older one used to "click" right in.

Sounds like the dock is then defective. Did you reach out to the support folks and see what they had to say?

Returned it and it was defective (great luck I had) but now it's working. Thank you!!!
