So I have an iPhone 11 and just today I noticed that the sound that my keyboard was making was very low, the same when unlocking the phone with the passcode. Yes, I turned the ringer volume all the way up but it did not do anything. Not only that but while typing I randomly hear louder clicks.

What's up with that?

Unfortunately, I do not have a real solution, however, I can tell you that this is a problem numerous users, me included, experience. From all the threads I have read on this (here and elsewhere), there reason for this behavior of the typing sound never became fully clear.

For me, for example, it was like that on my brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max right out of the box. I have also contacted Apple about this and they suggested getting a replacement. The new device has now arrived and as soon as I have set it up, I can report back on whether the issue exists on the new phone too.
