So basically i picked up some corsair 4 gig ram that was on sale at newegg a few weeks ago. After I had installed the ram i got a Kernel Panic about a week later. I figured it was the ram so i downloaded memtest and it failed checkerboard ... whatever the hell that means. So i sent it back to corsair and they should get it in a few days here. In the meantime i reinstalled the old ram (2 gigs ... oh i miss 4 lol) but alas again last night, another Kernel Panic.

I found a troubleshooting list that suggesting repairing permissions. The errors basically came in the airport department.
Did that.

The ram that came with the computer did check out with memtest so its not the ram. (i think). I was running the standard apps at the time. Ichat, Safari and itunes sooo.

If this happens again what exactly do i need to do next?

The computer is a 2.5 gHz Macbook Pro bought in August. I have a 250 gig hitachi drive.

Thanks.

This is the log for the one that happened last night with good ram.
