Hello.

I have a macbook pro from late 09, I think (the one with 2.26 Dual-core),
With a lot of problems. First of, the fan is running at 6000rpm all the time, isight, wifi, bluetooth, and the backlight keyboard doesnt work at all, and neither does any of the usb ports.
I've read that a SMC-reset should do the trick for alot of these problems, but either i am doing it wrong or it simple doesn't work.

Anybody has any suggestions to what I can do about it?

Apple Hardware Test? For the fan it could be that you need to open it up and clean it out. Over time they can get full of dust and have to spin faster to cool down the laptop. As for USB ports and such, I'm not sure. Hopefully some of those are easy fixes and not a new logic board which is almost the cost of a new laptop.

A Genius could probably identify a lot of those issues, but it's not really worth your time and money when it's not in warranty anymore.
